Thomas saw Jesus die. He's not going to take the disciples word that Jesus is alive. Thomas saw the crucifixion with his own eyes. He saw the nails. The beating. The sword. The crown of thorns. He saw the death of Christ. Thomas wasn't going to follow a dead man.
