“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” - Jesus, Matthew 5:4
What does that mean for us? It means we do not inherit the earth through military might, political power, financial capital, backroom deals, elections, owning someone on social media, controlling others, getting our way, our own might, or in the words of David, through chariots or horses.
Meekness is a choice. The meek inherit the earth.
